And it just keeps getting better

We had a gorgeous weekend here in Chicago.  It's hard to argue with wearing shorts and dresses in mid-March but that's just what we've been doing.  So, we did what we needed to do - we spent a lot of time outside, had some ice cream and popsicles, and slept with the windows open every night.

Isla does not believe she's only 15 months old and wants to try everything her big sister does.  It's actually easier to get Isla on the bike than it is to get Sawyer...
However, she doesn't quite fit right:
Sawyer prefers the safer modes of transportation:
Turns out her own feet are more a danger to her than her bike:
Not exactly drama free - if only we could have captured her fake limp after she got cleaned up and bandaged...she was moving in inches.
Not to worry because Saturday came, and after some celebratory St Patrick's day bagels we hit the park.  Injuries were forgotten.
While Sawyer spent most of the time on the swings, Isla did loops on the slide.  She does it all on her own, and as soon as she gets to the bottom speeds around to the stairs to climb back up to the top.
Sat herself down
And back up at the top:
And just because I love this picture...a shot of the two sisters getting ready to slide together
We eventually moved over to the field and just let the girls play.  Sawyer ran...
And Isla climbed.  So far I notice their differences more often than their similarities.
Wasn't exactly a crazy St Patrick's day like yester-year, but it was fun.  Top it off with a birthday party for a sweet little girl, lots of walks with our wagon, a walk into town, lots of March Madness basketball, some general relaxation and we've had a really nice weekend.  It's been a really good warm-up for our short vacation to Florida at the end of the week.  Now, just two days of pain...I mean really busy work days and packing before we leave!
