San Fransisco

Yes, I know this isn't the Golden Gate Bridge. But, I thought I would give some love to the Oakland Bay Bridge. On our trip to the foggy city, this was the bridge we saw most often while exploring the piers. Both brother and good friends in tow, I spent a hectic 2 days in San Fran after almost 4 days in Yosemite National Park. We hiked almost 3o miles and had amazing views from the top of Yosemite Valley. I must admit I was spent when we came out of the wild and needed my boys to help me make it back to civilization. But as you can see we made it to a fine city for a couple days of fun. We tried to go to Alcatraz, but we were about 3 days too late for making a reservation....Instead we explored the piers and found some interesting plant life...

We made it to at least 15 bars (some better than others) in 2 days and met a lot of interesting people along the way.

I even managed to meet up with good friends from Chicago who relocated out here. Amy and Mike were nice enough to pick me up at my hotel, give me a short tour and take me across the Golden Gate to Sausalito for a nice little Italian meal and conversation. It was great to see you guys and Erin and I hope to get out there for a trip to wine country with you!

Our last morning we even took the trolley from Fisherman's Wharf to Downtown. It was pretty sweet and even better on our way back as we got to hang off the side the whole way. Classic.

On our way out of town we found Lombard street and took the Yukon down the windy street. We felt like we were the attraction!

It was a great trip out west and we are looking forward to planning our next adventure. We welcome any and all suggestions!
