On the Move

We've spent the last week getting back into the swing of things and so life has been relatively boring.  Has meant a lot of time at home playing with our toys.  Really the only exciting thing has been seeing how Isla has taken to crawling, standing, and wanting to walk.  Girl is definitely in motion - she's been crawling now for a few weeks, but now she's up on all fours, she tries to use everything and anything to get herself to standing, and grabs our fingers to help her walk around.  We can tell she's learning new things because every night she wakes up between 3-5pm standing in her crib, pretty much still asleep but crying I think because she's not sure what to do.  So apparently she's climbing in her sleep, which I'm pretty sure Sawyer did as well.  We even went out and bought her some shoes in case she wanted to test her skills outside.  And now, here's our weekend in pictures:

Isla loves to climb up pretty much anything
Isla introduced herself to the play kitchen this weekend...and was a fan
She even liked it when Dad stuffed her in the refrigerator
Had a little dress-up fun
More climbing

Practicing standing with Dad
Lasted on her own for a few seconds
But then Sawyer realized Dad wasn't paying attention to her
Playing with the music table - Sawyer won't leave Isla alone when she plays
While it was a bit of a weird weather weekend, alternating between heavy rain and sunshine, we did take advantage of the sun this afternoon.  Sawyer and Isla spent some time in the baby pool and Sawyer ran through the sprinkler for quite a while too.  Isla just seems to enjoy splashing around in the water and Sawyer soaked herself running back and forth.
So happy.
