We've been slowly getting ready for Halloween, and the girls are excited. Last year Sawyer was shy and Isla was the only one who would say Trick or Treat, but this year they both seem very into it. Will be fun...though crossing fingers for no rain.
We've been testing out our costumes so a few sneak peeks, but also wanted to post a few of my girl starting to eat baby food. In my exhaustive attempt to figure out why this girl won't sleep through the night I'm also seeing if maybe she just needed more food. This weekend she got rice cereal and some carrots and bananas. She seems to like all of them...not love..but like. Certainly we had no screaming bloody murder any time we tried to feed her a vegetable which Sawyer threw at us. I also bought some puffs because Margot is so interested in grabbing things, and she has loved having those on her tray. She doesn't get many in her mouth and hasn't mastered the tongue movement to keep them in, but she is far more content in her chair than ever before.
A bigger smile....Sawyer had a birthday party to go to this weekend, and because her friend likes to dress up they asked all the kids to wear costumes. Our cowgirl was super excited by hers...and this isn't even the completed look. Needless to say she made a cute little cowgirl, so we thought we'd give you a peek. Full outfit to come on Halloween.
Can't see the pigtails too well but she was off and running at the party and they were on full display.
And finally, while this munchkin will be a pig on Halloween, I couldn't resist buying an extra costume while at the store the other day. How cute is my little strawberry?
