Sawyer is nearing her two week birthday. Tomorrow we go to the doctor's for a check-up and I'm curious to see how much weight she has gained - her hands, feet, and pretty much everything has filled out and so i think she could be 8 lbs, or close to it. Sawyer has continued to be a good baby, and definitely enjoys her sleep which is nice. Her best naps are still during the day so it'll be nice when those start to come at night. She's also starting to get more alert - she likes when you hold her up so she can kick you with her feet, and the girl has a hell of a strong neck. We've started putting toys around her, as you can see from the mirror so she can look at them which she seems to enjoy.
This weekend we had three visitors - her grandparents and Aunt Michelle. Sawyer was lucky enough to meet her Grandma and Grandpa Harris when she was in the hospital, and her other grandparents came one week later. We took her out for some walks, and to a few restaurants where she behaved perfectly - she slept through all three occasions. I think everyone had fun - Sawyer certainly enjoyed having more people to hold her. The one picture on here of her sleeping on me is her in her favorite position - on her stomach and being held while she sleeps. She slept on me like that for 3 1/2 hours. I was not at all comfy but she was too cute to move, so i left her. Other than that, here's a bunch of pics we've taken over the last week...
