Sawyer is not so great at sleeping in her crib for naps - good at night, not good during day. So in the afternoon after unsuccessfully keeping her in her crib i brought her out to the family room to nap in her bouncy chair. She was very tired so I expected her to fall right asleep, however, she decided that she wanted to watch Ellen with her mom. She sat in her chair for 30 minutes mesmerized by the TV, and sucking on her fingers the whole time. I'm personally glad we share the same taste in daytime tv - no soap operas for us.
The other picture is one mark took when he got home. When Sawyer did finally fall asleep, she slept for three hours or so...just not all in one place. She started in the chair. When she woke up and ate, she then fell asleep on me, and when Mark got home I gave her to him. He got up and she just kind of rolled off him and the pillow onto her side...didn't even phase her. The girl was comotose, and was most unhappy when i finally woke her up.
