We went to the doctor today for Sawyer's two week appointment - turns out the girl can eat - she's up to 8 lbs and 5 oz - so instead of gaining about 3/4 of an oz each day, she gains 1 1/2 oz...the doctors weren't concerned but i thought it was funny. She is also now 21 1/2 inches, so little growth spurt for the monkey. Anyway - we're good to go for two more weeks before we go back to the doctor. Sawyer and I are just hanging out today - i'm a little tired because she decided to get up about every hour last night - it's unclear why, but needless to say i am a little tired. She's been really good today though, and has been awake for a good part of the day so i'm hoping that she's going to sleep well tonight. Fingers crossed anyway...
We put on a new outfit today - a ducks outfit that her Grandpa picked out for her. Sawyer's wardrobe is pretty limited right now, as she doesn't really fit into 0-3 month clothes just yet, but this one fit well after i washed it. She looked really cute in the outfit with matching hat - well done Dad! Luckily I took a few pictures of her in it this morning, which i attached. We had an incident this afternoon with some explosive poop that came out of her diaper, so it's unclear right now if the outfit will be worn again - either way i fear those ducks may never be the same :).
